Can you spare the supple attitude
Or just bare me the pain
I don't need mere gratitude
To get through this life so lame
It's funny that we feel we must live a lie
To appease the very essence of mankind
No need to carry burdens of blame
Stop and think, weren't we all once shy
If you step back for one small instance
You will realize that this life is just one big contest
With all us contestants
One winner, one loser, you or me
Am I the loser because you're a college grad
Or am I the winner because for what I have I am glad
Remember how life was with childhood innocence
Now as adults we have lost our way and struggle to become someone else
Is this for us or for someone else's convenience
For now I am done
For I've become a mere stereotype
I am someone else, lost from my childhood innocence....
